Altitude, a leading Carbon Removal Financier, has committed to procuring over 360,000 (three hundred and sixty thousand) tons of CO₂ Removal Certificates (CORCs) from Alcom biochar-based carbon removal (CDR) facilities in the Philippines and India. The credits will be issued on Puro.earth or equivalent registries, ensuring high-integrity verification and traceability. The biochar facilities, operating under strict sustainability and verification standards, utilize advanced pyrolysis technology to convert agricultural waste into biochar CDR while achieving positive results from the usage of biochar.

Alcom Founder & CEO Prateek Tiwari and Director of Carbon Siddharth Kaul emphasized that this partnership accelerates the deployment of high-quality CDR capacity, bringing long-term climate benefits while creating local economic value. First deliveries are beginning in 2026.
